Mr. Cheung has addressed in Intellectual Property transactions relating to mechanical and electrical

engineering for almost six years, responsible to handle the applications of several foreign applicants 

(including AGILENT, APPLE, APPLIED MATERIALS, AVAGO, MARVELL, NEC, SANYO, SEIKO EPSON

, SONY, THOMSON LICENSING, TOKYO ELECTRON LIMITED, TOYOTA, YAMAHA, ZIPHER etc.)

independently for translating, proofreading, responding to the Office Action, Reexamination of relevant 

applications and Invalidation of patent.

He specializes in the machinery and electrical engineering aspect of patent law.  His patent expertise 

covers a variety of areas including general machines and home appliances, imaging apparatuses, m-

edical instruments and apparatuses, food processing apparatuses, mechanical transmission and br-

aking systems, and air compression devices.

He has handled a large number of patent applications and advised in numerous patent cases.  He pr-

ovides legal services in patent application/inquiry/search, patent reexamination and invalidation, pate-

nt infringement analysis, patent administrative proceedings, patent tort proceedings, administrative

 investigation and disposition of patent infringements, licensing and assignment of patents and know-how, and other IP-related matters.
