Professor of Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) of China, Director of Chinese-German Institute for Intellectual Property in HUST, Hubei Province Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Standing Committee (since 2008), Specialist of National IPR Strategy Drafting Leading Group of China (since 2005), German Alexander von Humboldt scholar (2004), Consultant of World Intellectual Property Organization (since 2008), Member of European Academy of Sciences and Arts (since 2009), and Chairman of JSPS Fellow Alumni Association in China.
Prof. Dr. Yu has made outstanding achievements in the field of international intellectual property, published a series of papers in a variety of core journals in Germany, Britain, Switzerland and Japan, communicated with the officials and scholars of international intellectual property on behalf of Chinese government officials, make keynote speeches in a series of important international intellectual property conference, and won well-deserved reputation and respect.
